In a perfect JKD world, the practioner should have already hit before the opponent launches a full attack because we should have intercepted... But society holds us back to make sure we dont instigate...

 

Perception of threat is very subjective... even on camera and by witnesses.

 

Law enforcement has their own perceptions...

We assume all attackers are trained, have friends and maybe weapons

We cannot limited our training to what was... train for what is and what might be
